Product Description

The 7-inch plastic reel is a compact packaging reel developed for winding and organizing SMD carrier tape during electronic component packaging, storage and transportation.

Available in black and milky white, the reel provides two visual options for different production and inventory management requirements. The compact 7-inch format is suitable for applications where carrier tape needs to be kept in an orderly reel configuration without using a larger reel format.

During packaging, the carrier tape containing electronic components is wound around the central hub while the side flanges help maintain the tape position. This creates a controlled package that is easier to handle, store and transfer between production processes.

The reel can be used together with embossed carrier tape and cover tape to form a complete tape-and-reel packaging system for electronic components.

The two available colors can be selected according to the customer's packaging and production-management requirements.

Color selection can also be used to distinguish different customer orders, product categories or packaging configurations when required.

Reel Structure

The plastic reel is composed primarily of a central hub and side flanges, creating the winding area for carrier tape.
