The 16–24mm PS Embossed Carrier Tape is developed for SMD electronic components that require a structured and space-efficient packaging format. Its embossed pocket design creates separate loading positions for individual components, helping maintain an orderly arrangement during packaging, storage, transportation, and SMT production.

Available in 16mm, 20mm and 24mm widths, the carrier tape provides several packaging options for components with different dimensions. The tape is manufactured from polystyrene (PS) and can be configured with different pocket sizes, cavity depths, pitches, and layouts according to the component geometry.

Compared with a simple flat packaging material, the formed pocket structure gives each component its own defined space. This helps reduce component contact and uncontrolled movement while keeping the parts consistently arranged along the tape.

The 16–24mm PS carrier tape can be integrated with cover tape and plastic reels to form a complete tape-and-reel packaging solution. It is suitable for both component packaging and subsequent automated feeding processes.

For customized applications, development can begin with a component sample, engineering drawing, dimensional specification, or existing packaging sample. The pocket structure can then be evaluated and adjusted before final production.
