Product Description

About our Cover Tape:

The cover tape is a key auxiliary material in electronic packaging, usually in the form of transparent plastic film. It is used in conjunction with the carrier tape to seal and protect the SMD electronic components in the carrier tape slot.

It mainly covers integrated circuits, SMD inductors, transformers, capacitors, resistors, connectors and other surface mount components, forming a sealed packaging structure. The base material of the cover tape is mostly polyester (PET) or polypropylene (PP) film, and different functional layers are coated according to functional requirements, such as anti-static coatings or heat-sealing adhesives/self-adhesive layers. Under pressure or heating conditions, it can be firmly sealed with the surface of the carrier tape to form a complete sealed space, thereby ensuring that the internal components are protected from contamination, static electricity and mechanical damage during transportation and storage
